Shamblott Family Dentistry’s 13th annual day of free dental work is just before Valentine’s Day this year.
The St. Paul office, at 400 Selby Ave., will open its doors at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, and will provide free dentistry all day on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Patients usually start lining up before we open,” said Scott Shamblott, founder of Shamblott Family Dentistry. “It’s a great day for us because we get to make a difference for everyone we see.”
The event, which is sponsored by global nonprofit Dentistry from the Heart, provides dental services on or near Valentine’s Day every year for those who need care but can’t afford it.
The practice has given away more than $320,000 in free dentistry over the years. The organization has provided more than $7 million in dental treatments since its founding in 2001.
Shamblott has an office in Hopkins as well. For details, go to shamblottfamilydentistry.com or call 651-789-1144.
