Godley Station Dental holds an annual free dental day in Pooler
POOLER, Ga. (WTGS) — Godley Station Dental along with a team of volunteers will be hosting their seventh annual free dental day through Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) on April 26.
Godley Station Dental, along with members of their staff and volunteers, will help over 100 people in need of dental work, such as patients in need of fillings, extractions and cleanings.
Dentistry From The Heart is a national non-profit organization with a simple mission – making people smile. Founded in 2001 by a Dr. Vincent Monticciolo in New Port Richey, Florida, DFTH was created to aid those in need, including the growing population of under-insured Americans. Over 130 million Americans lack dental insurance, and over 29% of adults have untreated cavities. To date, DFTH has helped more than 80,000 patients.
“The Godley Station Dental team along with our volunteers are committed to paying it forward to our community. This is a mission trip in our own back yard, and we are bringing our skills and compassion to make this the most amazing event yet .” Statement from Practice Ambassador, Kandi Tripp.
The event will take place at Godley Station Dental in Pooler. The event will take place from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., where the Godley Station Dental will try and service as many patients as possible.
